October 2, 2010 – Sta. Catalina College in Legarda, Manila celebrated the last day of the novena in honor of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. It also conducted a Family Rosary Crusade. Students, parents, alumni and guests participated in this grand Marian activity.

The celebration started at 2:00 in the afternoon with the community recitation of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Immediately therafter, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated with Most Rev. Teodoro C. Bacani, DD as celebrant.

The solemn procession followed after the Mass. The order of the carrozas was as follows: (1) San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila; (2) San Martin de Porres; (3) Sto. Domingo de Guzman; (4) Sta. Catalina de Sena; (5) San Jose, and (6) Nuestra Señora del Santisimo Rosario.

The Company of St. Dominic was invited to join this grand Marian event. (The Company of St. Dominic is under the spiritual direction and protection of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena. Their main office is at Sta. Catalina Convent in Legarda, Manila). They were among the sponsors for the third day of the novena last September 26, 2010. The choir of the Company of St. Dominic served during the Mass for that day.

The Company of St. Dominic, headed by its officers, namely NESTOR G. LIMQUECO, OP (Supreme Moderator), HAROLD M. EUGENIO, OP (Secretary General) and MARWIL N. LLASOS, OP (Formator-designate) attended the Family Rosary Crusade and joined the solemn procession in honor Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. The members of the Company of St. Dominic followed the carroza of their Mother and Queen.
